<p>Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan pendekatan yang lebih efisien dalam analisis dan pengelompokan siswa berdasarkan keterkaitan akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan graf berarah dalam pemodelan hubungan antar siswa menggunakan bahasa pemrograman <em>Python</em>, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi analisis keterkaitan pra-literasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur dan analisis berbasis komputasi dengan pustaka <em>NetworkX</em> untuk membangun graf serta <em>Matplotlib</em> untuk visualisasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa graf berarah yang dibangun dengan <em>NetworkX</em> dapat secara efektif merepresentasikan hubungan antar siswa dalam kelompok belajar. Visualisasi menggunakan Matplotlib memungkinkan identifikasi pola keterkaitan secara sistematis dan lebih intuitif dibandingkan pendekatan berbasis tabel. Selain itu, analisis graf mengungkap siswa yang memiliki peran sentral dalam kelompok, yang dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengelompokan yang lebih optimal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan graf dalam sistem pendidikan memberikan representasi visual yang lebih jelas dan informatif terhadap hubungan antar siswa. <p>The philosophy of mathematics plays a crucial role in explaining the origins and status of mathematical knowledge. In the context of mathematics education, epistemological understanding is increasingly relevant, given the persistent dominance of absolutist views that regard mathematics as a certain and final body of knowledge. However, approaches such as empiricism and fallibilism offer alternative perspectives that are more reflective and dynamic. This study aims to explore the philosophical ideas of empiricism and fallibilism in mathematics and analyze their implications for mathematics education. The research employs a systematic literature review with a thematic analysis approach to identify key themes from each perspective and their potential contributions to educational practice. The findings reveal that empiricism emphasizes the role of concrete experience in the formation of mathematical knowledge, while fallibilism highlights the open and non-absolute nature of mathematical truth. The integration of these two approaches has the potential to support a contextual learning environment that embraces error and fosters critical thinking. <p>Perkembangan kebutuhan pembelajaran abad ke-21 semakin menuntut inovasi dalam sistem pendidikan, khususnya pada pengembangan media yang mampu mendorong interaksi dan kolaborasi peserta didik. Namun, kenyataannya pembelajaran matematika di sekolah masih didominasi oleh pendekatan konvensional yang berpusat pada guru dan minim interaksi antar siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis <em>Smart Apps Creator 3 (SAC 3)</em> untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi peserta didik pada materi bangun ruang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Islam Athirah Bukit Baruga. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengukur kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis SAC 3 memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. <p>This research was conducted to describe the mathematical representation abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 13 Mataram on the topic of Two-Variabel Linear Equation Systems (SPLDV), viewed from the introvert and extrovert personality types. A qualitative research method was used with descriptive approach. The subjects were chosen using purposive sampling and involved 4 students selected based on personality questionnaires and mathematical representation ability tests, followed by interview. Data was collected through non-tes instruments Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPI), essay questions on mathematical representation ability test and interviews which is then analyzed descriptively to find out the differences in verbal, symbolic and visual representation abilities between introvert and extrovert students. The data analysis uses the interactive analysis model from Miles & Huberman. The results showed that introvert students have very good verbal and symbolic representation skills, but still weak in visual representation because none of them could answer correctly. Extrovert students also have good verbal and symbolic representation skills, more confident in answering, but less detailed and tend to rush. Just like introvert, extrovert students also couldn’t represent SPLDV visually in the right way. <p>Hasil pembelajaran merupakan langkah di mana seseorang memanfaatkan kemampuan berpikir, merasakan, dan bergerak untuk mengumpulkan pengalaman dalam jangka waktu yang cukup panjang, mendapatkan pengetahuan, dan akhirnya mengalami transformasi. Apa yang diamati akan tetap tersimpan dalam ingatan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan media interaktif Kahoot pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Labuapi dan kelas VIII di MTsN 1 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi total sebanyak 58 yang terdiri dari 24 siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Labuapi dan 34 kelas VIII di MTsN 1 Mataram orang yang dilakukan selama 3 bulan, yaitu April hingga Juni. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar di MTsN 1 Mataram 82,35% dan di SMAN 1 Labuapi 83,3 % dengan menggunakan media Kahoot. Oleh karena itu penggunaan media interaktif Kahoot memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di MTs maupun SMA. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan <em>learning obstacle</em> siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Mataram tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dalam menyelesaikan soal keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (KBT) materi perbandingan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subjek 6 siswa kelas VII-A, masing-masing 2 siswa dari kategori KBT tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes KBT materi perbandingan dan wawancara, lalu dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan <em>learning obstacle</em> siswa dengan KBT kategori tinggi yakni dalam tahap konseptual 2%, prosedural 4%, dan teknik 4%; siswa dengan KBT kategori sedang dalam tahap konseptual 40%, prosedural 43%, dan teknik 5%; dan siswa dengan KBT kategori rendah dalam tahap konseptual 64%, prosedural 66%, dan teknik 5%. <em>Learning obstacle</em> siswa dengan KBT kategori tinggi berupa tidak mencantumkan informasi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan, tidak menuliskan langkah penyelesaian secara lengkap, dan kurang tepat dalam melakukan pembagian bilangan pecahan. Siswa dengan KBT kategori sedang cenderung kurang tepat dalam menentukan bukti sebagai dasar keputusan, membuat model atau strategi penyelesaian masalah, dan menghitung jarak. <p>This study aims to implement and compare the effectiveness of the secant method in solving nonlinear equations using two different computational applications microsoft excel and maple. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a comparative methodology. The secant method, which is part of numerical methods commonly used to determine the roots of nonlinear equations, was separately implemented on each software platform. The process of solving the nonlinear equation through secant iterations was explored and executed independently on both tools. The results of the implementation show that both applications are capable of producing similar root values for the given equation. However, Microsoft Excel offers an advantage in visualizing the iterative process in a detailed and step-by-step manner, allowing users to clearly understand how the solution is derived through each stage of calculation. In contrast, Maple tends to present the final outcome of the iteration process without displaying the detailed steps involved. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika antara siswa yang belajar menerapkan model <em>Problem Based Learning</em> (PBL) berbantuan Quizizz, model konvensional berbantuan Quizizz, dan model konvensional. Permasalahan yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang interaktif. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain <em>Post-test Only Control Group Design</em>. Sampel terdiri dari tiga kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Warungasem yang dipilih menggunakan teknik <em>Cluster Random Sampling</em>, masing-masing memperoleh perlakuan berbeda. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika berbentuk tes uraian yang terdiri dari 7 soal. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA satu jalan dan uji lanjut (scheffe). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antar kelompok. Model PBL berbantuan Quizizz memberikan hasil pemahaman konsep matematika tertinggi, disusul model konvensional berbantuan Quizizz, dan terakhir model konvensional. <p>The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities on the Pythagorean theorem material in terms of gender. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of 3 male students and 3 female students. The instruments used in this study were a problem-solving ability test, and interview guidelines. Data were selected from 6 subjects out of 30 students based on each category of mathematical problem-solving ability level for in-depth interviews. The results showed that the mathematical problem-solving abilities of male students were more dominant than female students. Students with high mathematical problem-solving ability category are male students who are able to fulfill all stages of problem solving ability indicators (1) understanding the problem, (2) devising a plan, (3) carrying out the plan, and (4) looking back. Students with moderate mathematical problem-solving ability category are male and female students who can only carry out three stages of problem-solving ability indicators (1) understanding the problem, (2) devising a plan, (3) carrying out the plan but have not been able to go through the looking back stage. <p>Students' mathematics learning outcomes are influenced by various factors, both internal and external. Two of the internal factors are learning interest and metacognitive ability. This study aims to determine the effect of learning interest and metacognitive ability on the mathematics learning outcomes of ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar. This research uses a quantitative approach with associative research type and ex post facto design. The population of this study consisted of 106 ninth-grade students from SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, which was 54 students from class IX A and IX B who were selected from 4 existing classes. Data collection using questionnaire and test methods. This research instrument is a questionnaire of interest in learning, a questionnaire of metacognitive abilities and a test of student math learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that interest in learning and metacognitive ability had a positive effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of SMP Negeri 3 Lingsar students by 98%.</p>Ismi Andriyani, Nani Kurniati, Ni Made Intan Kertiyani

<p>The development of E-LKPD (Electronic Student Worksheets) in mathematics education represents an effort to integrate learning strategies with information technology. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, aiming to identify, evaluate, and interpret various research findings related to E-LKPD over the past five years (2021-2025). The focus of the study encompasses the components of E-LKPD, challenges in its development and implementation, as well as the effectiveness of E-LKPD on students' mathematical abilities. An analysis of 20 articles revealed that the primary components of E-LKPD include covers, lesson identity, usage instructions, learning objectives, material presentation, exercise problems, and evaluation. Common challenges encountered include a lack of digital facilities such as smartphones or PCs, the readiness of teachers and students to utilize digital tools, and suboptimal digital platforms. The effectiveness of E-LKPD has been shown to enhance mathematical skills, including numeracy, creative thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving, metacognition, self-directed learning, and self-efficacy. The findings of this research aim to encourage educators to develop more effective E-LKPD, thereby positively impacting students' mathematics learning outcomes.</p>Heni Nurhasanah, Meiliasari

<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p> <p><em>This research aims to describe the critical thinking abilities in algebra material as viewed from the personality types of eighth-grade students at SMPN 8 Mataram. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The instruments used include a personality type test, specifically the Big Five personality questionnaire, critical thinking ability tests, and interview guidelines. </em><em>Data from ten subjects were chosen from a group of 68 students based on their respective personality types for in-depth interviews</em><em>. The results of the research show that students with openness to experience and neuroticism personality traits have moderate critical thinking abilities. In this case, students are able to meet 2 or 3 indicators. Students with openness and neuroticism personality types tend to be dominant in the analysis and evaluation indicators, while they tend to score lower in the interpretation and inference indicators. Students with extraversion and agreeableness personality traits have moderate critical thinking abilities as well. In this case, students are able to meet 2 or 3 indicators. Students with extraversion and agreeableness types tend to be more dominant in the analysis, evaluation, and inference indicators but tend to score lower in the interpretation indicator. Furthermore, students with conscientiousness personality traits have high critical thinking abilities. In this case, students are able to meet 3 or 4 indicators. Students with conscientiousness tend to be dominant in the interpretation, analysis, and evaluation indicators, while they tend to score lower in the inference indicator.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi aljabar ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Mataram. Jenis penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tipe kepribadian yaitu angket kepribadian <em>big five</em>, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan pedoman wawancara. Dipilih data 10 subjek dari anggota 68 siswa berdasarkan masing-masing tipe kepribadian untuk dilakukan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa berkepribadian <em>openness to experience</em> dan <em>neuroticisme</em> memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang. Dalam hal ini, siswa mampu memenuhi 2 atau 3 indikator. Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian <em>openness</em> dan <em>neuroticisme</em> cenderung dominan dalam indikator analisis dan evaluasi, serta siswa cenderung rendah dalam indikator interpretasi dan inferensi. Siswa berkepribadian <em>extraversion</em> dan <em>agreeableness</em> memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang. Dalam hal ini, siswa mampu memenuhi 2 atau 3 indikator. Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian <em>extraversion </em>dan <em>agreeableness</em> cenderung lebih dominan dalam indikator analisis, evaluasi, inferensi dan cenderung rendah dalam indikator interpretasi. Kemudian, siswa berkepribadian <em>conscientiousness</em> memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi. Dalam hal ini, siswa mampu memenuhi 3 atau 4 indikator. <p>Self-confidence is considered a key psychological factor in enhancing students' ability to communicate mathematical ideas effectively. However, few studies have explored this relationship in the context of lower secondary education. This study aims to investigate the effect of self-confidence on the mathematical communication skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Mataram during the 2024/2025 academic year. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed. A purposive sample of 29 students was selected, and data were collected using a self-confidence questionnaire and a mathematical communication skills test on the topic of systems of linear equations in two variables. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. With the regression equation, the correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that self-confidence has a significant positive effect on students' mathematical communication skills. <p>This study was motivated by the findings of learning obstacles experienced by students in the multiplication of count numbers. The findings were obtained through the learning obstacle test at the preliminary study stage and supported by data showing the low numeracy skills of students in Indonesia. The identified difficulties include: (1) understanding the meaning of story problems, (2) understanding the concept of multiplication as repeated addition, (3) performing mathematical calculation processes, and (4) applying the concept of multiplication in everyday life. To overcome these problems, a didactical design was developed as an effort to minimize learning obstacles while facilitating students' numeracy skills. This research uses the Didactical Design Research (DDR) method which includes three stages, namely prospective analysis, metapedidactic, and retrospective. Data were collected through observation interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation studies, then analyzed through data reduction, presentation and verification. The results showed that the application of didactical design had a positive impact on multiplication learning. This is evidenced by 89% of students who gave positive responses, as well as the reduction of learning barriers that had previously been identified, especially the reduction of difficulties in understanding the concept of multiplication. <p>Pembelajaran matematika dianggap membosankan dan sulit dipahami karena materi cenderung bersifat abstrak dan metode pengajaran kurang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan alat peraga berupa permainan ular tangga bertema Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe <em>Team Games Tournament</em> (TGT) yang valid, efektif dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode <em>Reseach and Development</em> (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu <em>Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation</em>. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Tahap <em>development </em>dilakukan penilaian produk melalui penyebaran angket kepada validator. Hasil validasi menunjukan bahwa produk berkriteria sangat valid dan layak digunakan, dengan skor rata-rata untuk aspek materi 4,538 dan aspek media 4,583. Tahap <em>implementation </em>dilakukan penerapan produk serta analisis efektifitas produk. Hasil analisis efektivitas produk dilihat dari <em>pre-test</em> dan <em>post-test</em>. Ditunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dengan skor rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,744 termasuk kategori tinggi. Tahap <em>evaluation </em>dilakukan penyebaran angket respon kepada siswa untuk mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan produk. <p>Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan numerasi matematika siswa yang disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model <em>problem based learning</em> terhadap kemampuan numerasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Montong Gading tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dengan<em> posstest only control design</em>. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII-C sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen (81,3) lebih tinggi dibandigkan dengan kelas kontrol (74,2) . Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t menggunakan SPSS dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% diperoleh nilai t_hitung=2,627 > t_tabel=2,00172 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan numerasi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. <p>Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Mataram menunjukkan perlunya penerapan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajarnya. Salah satu alternatifnya adalah model pembelajaran ARIAS (<em>Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction</em>) yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Mataram Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain <em>post-test only control group</em>. Sampel dipilih melalui teknik <em>cluster random sampling</em>, yaitu kelas VIII.7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.8 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t, dan uji <em>effect size</em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Mataram tahun ajaran 2024/2025.. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai t<sub>hitung </sub>(3,23) > t<sub>tabel </sub>(2,004) yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (82,31 > 72,71). <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan resiliensi matematis terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Wiradesa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif berjenis penelitian ex post facto. Sampel diambil melalui teknik cluster random sampling, dengan jumlah 32 siswa dari kelas X7. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan berganda, setelah sebelumnya dilakukan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas, linearitas, heterokedastisitas, dan multikolinearitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika berpengaruh signifikan sebesar 34,4%; 2) resiliensi matematis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 20,2%; dan 3) secara simultan, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan resiliensi matematis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis sebesar 42,8%. <p>This study aims to describe students’ mathematical communication skills in the topic of two variable linear equation systems, viewed from the perspective of extrovert and introvert personality types among eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Labupi. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire, a test, and interview guidelines. Of the 34 students who completed the personality type questionnaire, 14 were identified as extroverts and 20 as introverts. Subsequently, the students were given a mathematical communication skills test. Based on the results, four research subjects were selected, consisting of two extroverted students and two introverted students. The qualitative data analysis used in this study consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that both high and low level extrovert students demonstrated good mathematical communication skills, as they were able to meet the indicators of mathematical communication skills, namely writing, reading, and mathematical expression. Extroverted students were more proficient in explaining problem solutions compared to introverted students. High-level introverted students also showed good mathematical communication skills, fulfilling the aspects of writing, reading, and mathematical expression. <p><em>This study aims to describe the ability of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Lembar in solving trigonometry story problems based on their level of mathematical literacy. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with six eleventh-grade students from class XI-1 as subjects, two each from the high, moderate, and low literacy categories. Data were collected through story problem tests and interviews, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study used a mathematical literacy framework that included formulate (formulating situations mathematically), employ (applying mathematical concepts, facts, procedures, and reasoning), and interpret (interpreting, applying, and evaluating mathematical results). The results of the study show that high-level students are able to perform all three processes well: understanding the context of the problem (formulate), applying formulas and procedures correctly (employ), and interpreting results and drawing conclusions according to the context (interpret). Meanwhile, intermediate-level students are sufficiently capable of identifying information and formulating problems (formulate), applying formulas although not yet systematically (employ), and drawing logical conclusions although there are still errors (interpret). <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis kesalahan penalaran dalam menyelesaikan masalah pola bilangan. Analisis kesalahan dilakukan berdasarkan prosedur penalaran matematis ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Tahapan penalaran matematis dalam penelitian ini meliputi mengidentifikasi sebuah pola, membuat dugaan, memberikan bukti, dan memberikan argumen tanpa bukti. Subjek penelitian kelas VIII A dan VIII B SMPN 1 Pringgasela tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dipilih dengan purposive sampling. Untuk memperdalam hasil penelitian dipilih 3 siswa untuk setiap jenis kelamin. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes pola bilangan dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase kesalahan penalaran matematis yaitu: (i) siswa perempuan tahap mengidentifikasi sebuah pola 50%, membuat dugaan 33%, memberikan bukti 17%, dan memberikan argumen tanpa bukti 22%; (ii) siswa laki-laki tahap mengidentifikasi sebuah pola 22%, membuat dugaan 100%, memberikan bukti 67%, dan memberikan argumen tanpa bukti 56%; (iii) penyebab kesalahan siswa perempuan kurang teliti memahami soal dan kurang terbiasa dalam menyimpulkan hasil akhir; (iv) penyebab kesalahan siswa laki-laki karena kurang memahami materi pola bilangan, kurang teliti dalam perhitungan, kurang teliti memahami soal dan tidak terbiasa dalam menyimpulkan hasil akhir.</p>Nurul Ambia, Nani Kurniati, Tabita Wahyu Triutami

<p>Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Mataram menunjukkan perlunya solusi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkannya, sehingga tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain <em>posttest-only control group</em>. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Mataram tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sampel diambil secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas VIII-D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII-B sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan jumlah 79 siswa. Perlakuan berupa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada kelas eksperimen, sedangkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair Share (TPS) pada kelas kontrol. Instrumen berupa tes uraian yang telah divalidasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t (independent sample t-test), dan effect size. Hasil menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kontrol, yaitu 83,38 dan 72,18. Uji-t diperoleh , disertai effect size sebesar 0,94. <p>The abstract nature of mathematics often makes students feel challenged, bored, and even anxious during the learning process. Therefore, mathematics learning should be interactive, enjoyable, and motivating. This study aimed to develop ethnomathematics-based comic learning media that connects the concept of cylindrical solid geometry with the traditional Sasak musical instrument Gendang Beleq to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of 29 seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Lingsar, consisting of 10 male and 19 female students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), but was limited to the Develop stage. Research instruments included validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning achievement tests. The analysis focused on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The results indicated that the developed comic media was categorized as “highly valid” with an average percentage of 81.73%, “highly practical” with an average percentage of 92.65%, and “effective” with an N-Gain score of 0.73 (high category). Furthermore, this media successfully increased students’ learning interest, reinforced contextual conceptual understanding, and fostered an appreciation of local culture. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model <em>Problem Based Learning</em> (PBL) bernuansa etnomatematika suku Sasak terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis <em>posttest-only control group design</em>. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Suralaga tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes tertulis dalam bentuk soal uraian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t dan uji <em>effect size</em> menggunakan rumus <em>Cohen’s</em>. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol, yaitu nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 78,25 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 69,50. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model <em>problem based learning</em> (PBL) bernuansa etnomatematika suku Sasak terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Suralaga Tahun Ajaran . Students of class VIII K at SMP Negeri 3 Sungguminasa were the subjects in this study. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. Data processing through analysis of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results showed that the Kodular-based interactive learning application on SPLDV material has met the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. In addition, students' mathematical literacy skills have increased after the application of the application. <p>Penalaran adalah proses berpikir yang sistematis untuk menghubungkan fakta dan menarik kesimpulan logis. Penalaran matematis merupakan inti dari pembelajaran matematika karena melibatkan proses berpikir kritis dan sistematis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberi siswa di kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Bonepantai modul pembelajaran yang fokus pada penalaran matematis yang fokus pada materi operasi matriks. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (<em>Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)</em>. Proses pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain modul, validasi ahli, uji coba terbatas, serta implementasi pada siswa kelas XI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran matriks yang didasarkan pada penalaran matematis valid, praktis, dan efektif. 88% siswa mencapai nilai di atas KKM (≥70), dengan rata-rata 80.18, dan angket siswa menemukan bahwa kepraktisan modul sangat baik, dengan skor rata-rata 90%. <p>This study aims to describe students' conceptual understanding abilities in polyhedron spatial geometry material in terms of their cognitive style. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were 4 students of class IX-G of SMP Negeri 5 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year, consisting of 2 students with the field independent cognitive style category and 2 students with the field dependent cognitive style category. The data collection techniques used were tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and draw a conclusion. The results of this study indicate that (1) the conceptual understanding ability with the field independent cognitive style is very good, both subjects can meet all indicators of conceptual understanding, namely being able to restate concepts, being able to classify objects based on concepts, being able to provide examples and non-examples of concepts, and being able to present concepts in the form of mathematical representations. <p>Mathematical concept understanding ability is an essential aspect of mathematics learning, however in reality many students still face difficulties in comprehending basic mathematical concepts. One of the factors causing this issue is the dominance of conventional teaching models that do not actively engage students. Therefore, the research aims to examine the effect of applying the <em>Problem Based Learning</em> model assisted by Kahoot! on students’ mathematical concept understanding abilities in class VIII. This research employs a Quasi Experimental method with a quantitative approach and a posttest only non-equivalen control group design. The sample is selected using the purposive sampling technique, with class VIII 6 as the experimental class, which receives treatment in the form of the PBL model assisted by Kahoot!, and class VIII 2 as the control class, which is taught using the direct instruction model assisted by Kahoot!. Based on the t-test calculation, the obtained value was > with 8,712 > 1,672. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model <em>problem based learning</em> terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kuripan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode <em>quasi eksperimental design</em> dengan desain <em>posttest-only control group design</em>. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kuripan tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan teknik <em>cluster random sampling</em>, yang menghasilkan siswa kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen diterapkan model <em>problem based learning,</em> sedangkan kelas kontrol diterapkan model pembelajaran langsung. Instrumen penelitian meliputi modul ajar, lembar observasi, dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai t_hitung = 2,133 > t_tabel = 2,004 sehingga ditolak dan diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, di mana rata-rata nilai <em>posttest</em> kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 71,875 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 63,966, dengan pengaruh yang diberikan berada pada kategori sedang berdasarkan hasil uji <em>effect size</em> sebesar d = 0,575 . <p>Crime data in North Sumatra Province obtained from the Central Statistics Agency shows an upward trend, peaking in 2023. This condition presents an urgent need for swift and appropriate policy intervention. The effectiveness of such policies is measured by their ability to significantly reduce crime rates. This study aims to forecast the trend of criminal acts in North Sumatra for the period 2024–2028 using the Monte Carlo Simulation method, based on historical data from 2000 to 2023. The stochastic simulation approach was chosen to accommodate the uncertainty and variability inherent in crime data. The results provide probabilistic predictions that can serve as a reference for the government in designing more adaptive and responsive crime prevention policies. This model is expected to offer realistic estimates of potential increases or decreases in crime, thereby enabling more targeted and data-driven decisions. <p>This study aims to describe the mathematical reasoning abilities of eighth-grade students at SMPN 4 Mataram based on their learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The reasoning indicators include making conjectures, representing ideas, performing mathematical manipulations, determining problem-solving strategies, drawing conclusions, and verifying the correctness of statements. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. From 48 students who completed the learning style questionnaire, six students were selected as research subjects two from each learning style using purposive sampling. Data were collected through learning style questionnaires, mathematical reasoning tests, and interview guidelines. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students with visual and auditory learning styles were able to meet all indicators of mathematical reasoning and were categorized as having high reasoning ability. In contrast, students with a kinesthetic learning style met only some indicators and were categorized as having moderate ability. <p><em>This study aims to develop Augmented Reality learning media on prism material in improving the learning outcomes of class VIII students of MTsN 2 Mataram. This study is a research and development (R&D) with a 4D model. The sample of this study was 32 class VIII A students of MTsN 2 Mataram. In the design stage, AR media was designed using the Assemblr Edu platform, then the AR content was implemented in LKPD. In the development stage, two small-scale trials were conducted to obtain data on the practicality and effectiveness of the media. The research instruments used were questionnaires and learning outcome test questions. Data analysis techniques were used to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed learning media. The results of the study show that the AR media developed (1) is valid with a validity score of 0.78 and a valid category using the Aiken V formula, (2) is practical with a percentage of 86.9% and a very practical category using the practicality percentage, (3) is effective with a classical completion percentage of 81.25% in a very high category so that the Augmented Reality learning media developed is effective for improving learning outcomes</em>.</p>Abdul Majid, Amrullah, Dwi Novitasari

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam mengerjakan soal matematika setara PISA konten bilangan. Analisis kemampuan penalaran matematis dilakukan berdasarkan empat konteks soal matematika PISA, yaitu konteks pribadi, sosial, ilmiah, dan pekerjaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan <em>purposive sampling</em> dan didapatkan kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembar tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebagai subjek penelitian. Pendalaman hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan memilih 6 siswa dari setiap kategori kemampuan penalaran matematis, yaitu 2 siswa mewakili kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi, 2 sedang, dan 2 rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes soal matematika setara PISA dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: (i) siswa dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi keempat indikator penalaran matematis, (ii) siswa dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis sedang kurang dalam mengajukan dugaan, tetapi baik pada indikator lainnya, dan (iii) siswa dengan kemampuan rendah umumnya hanya mampu mengajukan dugaan, namun pada soal keempat mampu memenuhi tiga indikator penalaran matematis.</p>Dina Auliya, Sudi Prayitno, Ulfa Lu'luilmaknun

<p>Ethnomathematics is a science used to study how mathematics originates from a culture. This study aims to explore ethnomathematics in Sumbawa buffalo racing accessories and equipment. This type of research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data sources were obtained from observations, interviews with cultural figures, buffalo racing owners, and sandro or shamans. Data analysis used an ethnographic approach consisting of the following stages: (1) determining informants who have in-depth knowledge, (2) conducting interviews to gather information, (3) making ethnographic notes in the form of written documentation, (4) asking descriptive questions to gain a general overview, (5) analyzing the results of ethnographic interviews to find themes, (6) conducting domain analysis to identify cultural data, (7) asking structural questions to determine the relationships between elements in one domain, (8) conducting taxonomic analysis to group data, (9) writing ethnography based on the researcher's findings, and (10) validation. The results of the study show that: 1) the meanings contained in the accessories and equipment of Sumbawa buffalo racing are courage, peace, fertility, and strength. 2) the mathematical concepts or principles in the accessories and equipment of Sumbawa buffalo racing are two-dimensional geometry (rhombus, circle, trapezoid, and triangle), three-dimensional geometry (cylinder and cone), analytical geometry (hyperbola and hyperboloid) and transformation and regularity geometry (repeating patterns, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, midpoints, and right angles).</p>Ikhlas Zul'Amal, Sripatmi Sripatmi, Dwi Novitasari

<p>Penelitian ini merupakan kajian sistematis terhadap 25 artikel ilmiah yang membahas penerapan model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dalam Pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi ren publikasi, jenjang pendidikan yang menjadi sasaran, serta efektivitas model TGT dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan tahapan identifikasi, penyaringan, dan analisis artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam rentang waktu 2016-2025. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa trend publikasi meningkat sejak 2018, dengan puncak pada tahun 2024. Jenjang pendidikan yang paling dominan adalah SMP/MTs. Model TGT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, keaktifan, minat dan motivasi belajar, serta aspek lainnya seperti komunikasi matematika, kolaborasi, pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah. Meskipun demikian, terdapat satu artikel yang mengulas hambatan implementasi model TGT. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa aspek tantang masih belum banyak dibahas, sehingga menjadi peluang untuk penelitian selanjutnya. <p>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematis pada materi relasi dan fungsi berdasarkan pendekatan Prosedur Newman. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Widya Nusantara dengan subjek tiga siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih berdasarkan kategori kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui 5 soal tes uraian materi relasi dan fungsi berdasarkan indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis serta wawancara tak terstruktur untuk memperkuat hasil temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mengalami kesulitan pada tahap <em>comprehension</em>. Siswa dengan kemampuan sedang mengalami kesulitan pada tahap <em>reading</em>, <em>encoding</em>, dan <em>comprehension</em>, sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah mengalami kesulitan yang lebih kompleks, yaitu pada tahap <em>comprehension</em>, <em>encoding</em>, <em>process skills</em>, dan <em>transformation</em>. Tahap <em>comprehension</em> merupakan kesulitan yang paling dominan dialami oleh seluruh kategori siswa, dengan indikator soal memberikan pernyataan yang tepat dan tidak tepat berdasarkan konsep. <p>The purpose of this study was to describe students’ creative thinking skills in solving problem-solving questions in terms of cognitive style of eighth-grade students at SMPN 13 Mataram. A qualitative research method was used with descriptive approach. Three instruments were used in this study, GEFT test question to determine student cognitive style, math question in the form of description questions on the material of Polyhedron, and interview guidelines. The subjects were chosen using purposive sampling and involved 6 students, with 3 students representing each cognitive style selected based on GEFT test. subsequently, a creative thinking skills test was administered, followed by a semi-structured interview to confirm the students’ creative thinking abilities. The data analysis technique used Miles and Hubermans, interactive analysis model, while data credibility was tested using technique triangulation. The results of the study showed that one subject with a field-dependent cognitive style did not meet any of the three indicators of creative thinking skills, two field-dependent subjects met the fluency indicators, two field independent subjects met the fluency and flexibility indicators, and one field independent subject met all three indicators of creative thinking skills.</p>Annisa Sabrina, Ketut Sarjana, Ulfa Lu’luilmaknun

<p>This study aims to determine the influence of personality types on mathematics achievement among secondary school students. The personality types examined include extrovert and introvert. The research used an ex post facto design with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 39 students, divided into two groups based on the results of a personality test: 23 extrovert students and 16 introvert students. Mathematics achievement data were obtained from previously validated mathematics test scores. Data analysis was conducted using an independent samples t-test to determine the difference in average achievement between the two personality types. The results showed a significant difference in mathematics achievement between extrovert and introvert students, with introvert students achieving a higher average score (77.56) compared to extrovert students (66.43). The conclusion of this study is that personality type affects mathematics achievement. <p><em>Self-efficacy is an important factor that influences students' success in solving mathematical problems. This study aims to describe the differences in self-efficacy characteristics between students with high and low self-efficacy scores in solving mathematical problems on the topic of the Pythagorean Theorem. This research employed a qualitative approach involving two junior high school students selected based on the results of a self-efficacy questionnaire. Data were collected through questionnaires, mathematical problem-solving tests, unstructured interviews, observations, and time triangulation to obtain accurate and in-depth data. The research instruments included a self-efficacy questionnaire based on Bandura's theory with seven indicators, as well as a problem-solving test based on Polya’s stages. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions interactively until the data were saturated. The results of the study showed that students with high self-efficacy scores were able to utilize mastery experiences, had stable self-confidence and expectations of success, were able to develop structured strategies, and could recover from failure with positive social support. These students also used the success of others as motivation in solving problems. In contrast, students with low self-efficacy scores showed less stable self-confidence, were more dependent on others for assistance, and had difficulties in developing effective problem-solving strategies.
