Authorship Criteria

Rengganis Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in the authorship of scholarly publications. Authorship should reflect significant intellectual contributions to the research or community service activities reported in the manuscript.

To qualify as an author, an individual must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contribution: Make significant contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data.
  2. Manuscript Preparation: Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically reviewing it for important intellectual content.
  3. Final Approval: Review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and publication.
  4. Accountability: Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work and ensure that questions regarding the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Individuals who contribute to the work but do not meet all four authorship criteria should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section rather than listed as authors.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors meet the authorship criteria, approve the final manuscript, and agree to its submission for publication.

Any changes to authorship, including the addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors, must be communicated to the editorial team and supported by the agreement of all affected authors.

Guest authorship, gift authorship, and ghost authorship are strictly prohibited.
