The publication of peer-reviewed articles in Rengganis Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat plays an essential role in developing a coherent and respected body of scientific knowledge. It directly reflects the quality of the authors' work and the institutions supporting them. Peer-reviewed articles contribute to and uphold the scientific method. As the publisher of Rengganis Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat, the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram, takes its publishing responsibilities seriously and recognizes its ethical and other obligations. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints, or other commercial revenues do not influence editorial decisions. Furthermore, the publisher and Editorial Board will facilitate communication with other journals and/or publishers when necessary and appropriate.

Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions

The editor is responsible for determining which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published. Editorial decisions shall be guided by the journal's editorial policies and applicable legal requirements concerning defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editor may consult other editors or members of the Editorial Board when making publication decisions.

Fair Play

Editors shall evaluate manuscripts solely on their intellectual content, without discrimination based on the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the author's explicit written consent.

Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and, through editorial communication with authors, may also help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.

Promptness

Any selected reviewer who feels unqualified to evaluate the research reported in a manuscript or recognizes that a timely review cannot be completed must promptly notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be disclosed to or discussed with others unless explicitly authorized by the editor.

Standards of Objectivity

Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of authors is inappropriate. Reviewers should express their assessments clearly and support their arguments with appropriate evidence.

Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors. Any statement indicating that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported should be accompanied by an appropriate citation.

Reviewers should also inform the editor of any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and other published works of which they have personal knowledge.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose in their manuscripts any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could be perceived as influencing the results or interpretation of their work. All sources of financial support for the project must also be disclosed.

Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards

Authors of original research reports must provide an accurate account of the work performed and an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data must be accurately represented in the manuscript.

A manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to enable others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

Data Access and Retention

Authors may be requested to provide raw data related to their manuscripts for editorial review. They should be prepared to provide public access to such data whenever feasible and, in all circumstances, retain the data for a reasonable period following publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are entirely original works. When authors use the work and/or words of others, they must provide proper acknowledgment and citations.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication.

Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Acknowledgment of Sources

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be provided. Authors should cite publications that have significantly influenced the development and findings of the reported work.

Authorship of the Manuscript

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported research.

All individuals who have made substantial contributions should be listed as co-authors. Other individuals or parties who have participated in specific substantive aspects of the research project should be acknowledged or identified as contributors.

The corresponding author must ensure that all appropriate co-authors are included in the manuscript and that no inappropriate co-authors are listed. The corresponding author must also ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed to its submission for publication.

Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects

If the research involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment that pose unusual or inherent hazards, authors must clearly identify these risks in the manuscript.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could be interpreted as influencing the results or interpretation of their manuscripts.

All sources of financial support for the research project must also be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works

When authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they are obligated to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor in retracting or correcting the article.
